On Saturday, April 14, the NHL Alumni team, led by celebrity coach Walter Gretzky, will take centre ice against Northumberland’s Hometown Team during ‘Hockey Night in Northumberland.’

Hosted by Northumberland United Way and Habitat for Humanity Northumberland, puck drop is 6 p.m. at the Cobourg Community Centre. All proceeds from the event will support the two organizations and their efforts to support individuals and families across Northumberland County.

CCC doors open at 5:00 p.m. with the puck drop at 6:00 p.m.

Get in the game by becoming a Hometown team sponsor and play against the NHL Alumni team for $1,000. There are limited spaces available, and you must be 18 years of age or older to play. Assist on the NHL Alumni Team alongside Walter Gretzky for $1,500, or serve as a linesman with a celebrity, NHL referee for $250. Contact Dianne Turk (dturk@nuw.unitedway.ca) to get involved.

VIP Tickets are available in two tiers. VIP Plus ($150) includes access to the NHL Alumni locker room after the 1st period for a private meet and greet, and signing opportunity with the players, reserved seating during the game, and entry into the VIP Reception after the game. VIP tickets ($99) include reserved seating and entry into the VIP Reception. VIP Tickets are available only through Habitat for Humanity.

General admission tickets are also available for $15 per adult and $5 per child. Tickets can be purchased online on the snapd Northumberland West website (northumberlandwest.snapd.com/), at United Way (62 Swayne St., Cobourg), or Habitat Restore (764 Division St., Cobourg).
